Hmm, I've had successive posts, but have never got that 5 second thing. Probably because all my posts are so long--they take way more than 5 seconds to type. The blessings of being long-winded.  :D

I've gotten it before when I've had threads open in separate windows, and I type one when the other is processing rather slowly over dialup.
