Weird Realization
« on: January 09, 2004, 11:39:00 PM »
Okay, have you ever looked at a celebrity and thought, "Gee, he or she looks familiar." Which is ussually followed by, "I wish he or she were a old high school friend or something then I should contact them and see if they could give me any money."

The money aside, I was looking at an old photagraph of my grandmother and thought, "this picture reminds me of someone famous." Well sure enough, a couple of years later I just realized who it is. I did a side by side comparison to make sure even. My grandmother in her twenties looked almost exactly like Gwen Stefani of "No Doubt" fame. I compaired several photos and came up with the same results. I also compared old photos of my grandmother to other celebs and didn't get the same results. So now I have a picture in my mind of Gwen Stefani in her eighties.

So that is your strange thought for the day or evening.

Now I need to go to a No Doubt concert, get up to the stage a yell to Gwen, "YEAH, ROCK ON, GWEN! YOU LOOK JUST LIKE MY GRANDMA!"

I hope there would be lots of photographer around to catch the look on her face.

I think "Running" is my current favorite No Doubt song.

I know what you mean. My mom and I watch Gilmore Girls (my mom less often than I) and she went to her hairdresser's and saw a picture of the actor on their wall. When she asked about it, they told her that he went to my high school. I pulled out my year book and sure enough there he was.

Not that I knew him even then . . . or that he's even famous, but I  thought it was cool.

What was even cooler was seeing one of the girls from my graduating class in a bit part (one ep only) on Angel and Charmed. She was a very good actress.

My wife went to Junior High with the girl from Felicity. They were also in the same ward, back when Felicity was active.
