Does this forum have a setting to make all forum registrations have to be approved by a human being?
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

Maybe, but I'm sure not going to be the one roped into doing something like that.

The example it gives is for specific email addresses, but I put "mail.ru" in there anyway, just to see.

Looks like the protection has worn off. I know TWG is really small, but it seems almost like someone saw the added protection and compensated his bots programming in response.

I recommend deployment of tactical nuclear weapons as our escalating response.

I dislike ookla's suggestion; anything that makes life too hard for new members to join is just asking to kill any potential growth of the forums. Image verification really is my suggestion, but I have no idea whether that is a plugin available for the TWG forum software.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Yeah, I'm actually pretty convinced these are coming from people being paid to hit forums and post spam. We'll work on more anti-spam features in the future.
