Hmmm... one would think SE would be the most likely choice if Kid has left (hope he hasn't - the more active reviewers the better). He is about the most prolific RPG reviewer i think. But Fell is the editor after all. He could nominate his daughter to the position... or EUOL (both would have about the same impact i would think) if he really wanted to.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

SE would be fine with me,... just thought I'd put in my resume... :)

Really I hope kid doesn't stay gone for good...
I don't agree with him, but that doesn't mean I don't like him.

42 was the other editor besided Kid.  Editor only lets you do things in the forum.  Even thought us deparment heads have the ablilty to approve articles, we never do.  It's all up to fell.

Department heads have two jobs: they maintain the department pages, and they make sure that we have an article for that department every week. Neither one happens very often, though we usually end up with three or four RPG articles a week anyway.

I don't necessarily think it's appropriate to talk about stepping into the position of someone who might not be gone. it's much better to do that in private conversation.

Oh, and don't forget, the RPG editor gets lots of free books.  The thing about that is that Fell doesn't really want to spend time mailing things across the world, so he wanted someone close to do the reviews.

The books go to whoever writes the review, not necessarily to the department head. Administration is something that can be done from anywhere.
