Question on cards
« on: March 30, 2005, 05:44:24 PM »
So I just sent out the "Thank You" cards to the people at UVSC who interviewed me.

Now, I'm trying to decide if I should send a card to my landlords. I read in the paper today that their son died in a rock-climbing accident over the weekend. I barely know my landlords (as it should be), but I think I should do something besides just send them the monthly check. So is it appopriate for my roommates and I to send a sympathy card?

I think that sort of thing is always appropriate, and thoughtful. It's good to have a friendly, if distant, relationship with your landlord. It makes things easier.
