TWG OZ Message Board
« on: June 11, 2005, 11:38:29 PM »
Yeah, the utahrds have one, and the eastside has one, so now we have one.

The first order of business is me heading down to TWG OZ central soonish. The current plan of action involves the olds coming up here shortly after the 28th, when I have a work meeting, staying for a few days, and giving me a lift back. I'll spend a week or two there and at my grandmother's, and catch a bus back before uni starts on the 17th.

Now, business:

1) Xaio, when's the crusade game? Will I be able to make it in that time span?

2) Xaio, you me and Bones MUST get together and spend however long it takes getting the first Nerdus Ordo Seclorum track finished. Not mostly done, completely done. We need to get one track under our belts to get anywhere, as discussed on MSN.

3) What's the chance of being able to schedule a Paranoia game in that time? I don't know everyone's schedules, but I figure Xaio and Gopher, you'd both be interested, right? Add in Ax, most likely, Bones probably. Gopher, would Scott or whatever his name was be interested, or are you enemies with each other now? Also, would Dane be interested? I think we can get six and have a great game out of it, if we can coordinate times.

Paranoia would be greatly welcome, I've been missing it.

I'll nudge Xaio, as he hasn't been on the forum for a while...

Scott [= fullymad] and I are certainly not enemies, no. Neither of us would mind if he came. I'm sure he'd want to. I'll ask him when I see him next...

Execellent, and I just saw Ax online, and he's up if he's allowed. Overall, it shouldn't be hard to get at least three, which is the number I'd want. As soon as I get down, I'll set a prospective date, and start making calls to organise it, since I won't have a lot of time. It'd really help if you can get everyone down there whose interested to either a) figure out a date among youselves when you're all free, so I don't need to do it, or b) just all email your schedules and phone numbers to me.

Basically, if you give me a date and tell me to run paranoia then, I'll be more than happy.

Unless I hear objections, there'll be new characters all round, and the mission will be a classic style one called "Stealth Train".

Considering I can't even remember my old character at all, I don't think it's of much importance,
Anyway, this is *paranoia*.

I rolled a 20. Crap...

Hang on, this is Paranoia. According to the rules, if the GM disagrees with a dice roll, the dice roll is incorrect.

Therefore, I did in fact roll a 1.

Who said you were GM'ing this?

JamPaladin runs into a plate glass window, and falls through it onto a marble vault floor 300 feet below. He's totalled. A random goat walks past and tells him so.

There are no goats in Alpha Complex. You must therefore be a commie traitor POSING as the GM, and none of that really happened.

The goat was a virtual reality one created by Friend Computer. Therefore your denial of its reality is traitorous.

Weekend of 9th-10th of July is when I'm looking at running it.  Current player list looks to be:
Gopher
Bones
Scott
Ax
Sicarius

And now, mebbe Bec and JP.

*reads up on the stealth train mission*

Paranoia game sounds great, and Nerdus Ordo Seclorum track is def a go.

I have spread my dreams under your feet;
