Writing internship, anyone?

For those of you in Utah who might be interested in writing picture books, or who might know someone who is, my teacher Rick Walton is starting an internship:

Subject: writing internship anyone?

I'm trying an experiment.  Illustrators have internships.  Why not writers?  I've had some great internships in my life. They were fun and valuable.

So I'm starting an intern program.  It's an unpaid internship, but hopefully you'll get enough out of it to make it worthwhile.  Most internships are two to four months.  But to make it simpler, and available to more people, I'm making mine much shorter and more flexible.

If you or someone you know is interested in interning, go to http://www.rickwalton.com/intern.htm for more information.

Rick has an amazing number of picture books out there, and he writes joke books, too. He's a great teacher and mentor--I highly recommend getting to know him.
