If you read the story, baidu, you find that 8 people were living in the home and only 3 were children so there were more lost wages than 2 adults. The main error in this story is that it attributes all the money to Ceda which is not true. Others living there were reimbursed for their losses. The house is not even in Ceda s name so she is not receiving the restoration money but it does make a better story doesn t it? Flash the name Clemmons across the page and then mention a near million no mention of the other damaged structures on the property. I would not go through all that for 2 million. I must say that there are mean spirited folks here as well as in Wisconsin. And if I got a call from a crazed family member saying he was coming to my house,Healdsburg named one of the best small towns in America@@@@@, you had better believe I would get my kids out of there pronto. and not to stop to use the phone. So easy to judge when you re not part of it.

Little Green Stocking Cap is the one complete story posted. I have previews up at Fairy Tales but the full tales are only available in the book. Information on how to purchase the eBook anthology is located on the front page of my website.

A quick search didn't show me any threads dealing with the April 2011 hack of this forum, www.timewastersguide.com wherein 6000 email addresses and hashed passwords were stolen.  I found out about it when my email address started receiving spam.  I only use that address here, nowhere else, and I have never shared it or posted it or made it public.

ANYONE with a SIMPLE password whose email address is one of the 6000 addresses should log in and CHANGE their password.  Even though the passwords appear to be hashed (MD5?  SHAx?), a quick dictionary attack will reveal the passwords.  I assume that this has already happened months ago.

Looking through the forums, I saw that at least one user reported his/her account was hijacked/stolen.

Site administrators, I'm curious as to what actions you have taken since April to close the security hole the hacker used.  Was it a forum software bug that a subsequent upgrade has made secure?

If you wonder if YOUR email address was one of the 6000, check here:

Here are a few 'blog and web posts about the hack:

One more down  8)

Pay attention to what I say B*****  ThEhAcKeR12 has hacked the site in end of July but released it on 16th August 2011. The only reason he had posted 6,500 user information is cause he just wanted to show the loop hole in this fucking site or this site just had 6500 members. Till the date he has leaked about 1,00000 emails with passwords including many government(US, UK & India mainly) information.
PS- Blocking him from blogger wont stop anyone from posting the information, it will just fuel it & he will be having fame. Tell the admin to improve the stupid security of the website to prevent 'the data from being stolen'!
Do tell the admin that this account is hacked
God Bless ya all

I don't think I'm going to be able to patch the forum 100% without doing a complete new install due to the custom code TWG uses which prevents the updater from working.

There were a lot of titles that never made it to the list.  I'm sad that the Lensman saga didn't make the top 100.  I'm even more sad that Jack Williamson's The Legion of Space wasn't even nominated.  I know it's hard to choose only 100 works out of all the entire genre, but it seems a crime that so many of the old masterpieces were overlooked.

Larry's comments were absolutely right.  I wasn't surprised at all when I heard about their closure.  It's been a long time coming.  While I'm sad to see any bookstore close, I'm not going to shed a tear over Border's passing since it means more business for Indies like the one I work at.  Now if we can just get publishers to realize that selling directly to Indies is a great idea, then everything will be golden!

I've compiled the Hero of Ages annotations as well as the Warbreaker annotations. They are just in Google docs, so you should be able to download them and put them in whatever format you like.
