The prevailing wild theory is that Baxil's mistress is Shalash herself and is destroying artwork depicting her,and that she destroyed it.

I'm wondering if it would be possible for Radiants to power the Shardplate themselves. After all, the primary purpose of the gems (at least this is how I read it) is to provide Stormlight for the Plate. Theoretically, this is why Szeth's surgebinding interferes with it. He pulls the Stormlight out of the gems and the Shardplate has no power source.

If he were to consciously feed Stormlight into the Plate at a slow rate, though, I can see that working. Maybe that's what was what the Radiants originally did, and the gems were just there for them to continue to renew their supply of Stormlight. Like batteries.

I think this this an excellent theory. I approve of this theory.

Also, I think the Honorblades are the Herald's uber-Shardblades. 9 of which are probably still  stuck somewhere or other, and one of which was last seen lying next to it's unconscious owner. (he ain't dead, cause Brandon sez he gets an expanded role later and he can't if he's dead. )

(edited to fix highly-unfortunate typo)

or, scary thought, was Odium, I would be screwed.
Oh, that is a scary thought!

no kidding.

apologies for necroing

Anyway, I'd only make a wish if I was really desperate or I had to save somebody  else, that one guy made a wish to save his family from starving, and didn't get that bad of a curse, maybe the Nightwacher likes altruism. Or she likes feeding people.

You could shank Dalinar and say sorry and he'd forgive you.

 :D
I seriously don't think Dalinar's gong to forgive Sadeas for his latest  stunt anytime soon.
And Kaladin isn't going to forgive Sadeas for using the bridgemen as cannon fodder anytime soon either.

Yeah, they were pierced into his skin so that it was (almost) impossible for them to be Pulled or Pushed.

I believe Scribbler has been rebranded as the Rithmantist (sp) and is apparently going to  be published eventually.

I note that I don't see how a powerful magic system is automatically "bad". There are lots of excellent stories involving powerful and versatile  magic. Granted it can be bad in the hands of a bad writer,  but so can anything else. And Brandon is an excellent writer.

Also, I agree that we really don't know a lot about the various forms of magic in TSA yet, it's a little early to be passing judgment.

Almost, it's been confirmed that the Almighty held Honor, which isn't mentioned there.

And with that information some people have theorized that the Almighty's actual name is Tanavast (this is based on Kaladin's dream/vision "Child of Tanavast, Child of Honor".)

Adonalsium was the original God of the Cosmere that shattered into 16 pieces (Shards of Adonalsium), various people got bound to the power of those Shards. Endowment is one of them, it is the Shard who's power is responsible for the phenomenon of the Returned.

Other such Shards include Ruin and Preservation, Honor (the Almighty), Cultivation (probably) and Odium

Aona and Skai are apparently the names of holders of other Shards, that were killed by Rayse (probably the name of the holder of Odium). Their Shards have  been Spliintered presumably to keep anybody else from getting a hold of them)

It's spelled Nahel.

Also, the Stormfather (Jezrien) might or might not be dead, the Almighty is dead.

it apparently takes place 300 years after the trilogy, so most of the original characters will be dead, except Marsh, the kandra (Sazed stuck the spikes back in after  everything was over),  and of course Sazed himself.

And that's about all I know.

I wish he would come to Western Canada, or at least Seattle.  Seeing as I could theoretically make a day trip to Seattle if I really wanted to. Although an overnight or weekend trip would be more practical.
