I remembered a thread from ages ago in which Brandon posted a list of the books he'd written, I looked it up when I realised it wasn't in the article, and I figured you guys might be interested too, so here it is.

The complete Brandon Library is:

1) White Sand Prime  (My first Fantasy Novel)
2) Star's End   (Short, alien-relations sf novel.)
3) Lord Mastrell (Sequel to White Sand Prime)
4) Knight Life (Fantasy comedy.)
5) The Sixth Incarnation of Pandora (Far future sf involving immortal warriors)
6) Elantris (You have to buy this one!)
7) Dragonsteel (My most standard epic fantasy
8) White Sand (Complete rewrite of the first attempt)
9) Mythwalker (Unfinished at about 600 pages. Â Another more standard epic fantasy.)
10) Aether of Night (Stand-Alone fantasy. Â A little like Elantris.)
11) Mistborn Prime (Eventually stole this world.)
12) Final Empire Prime (Cannibalized for book 14 as well.)
13) The Way of Kings (Fantasy War epic. Â Coming in 2008 or 2009)
14) Mistborn: The Final Empire (Coming June 2006)
15) Mistborn: The Well of Ascension (Early 2007)
16) Alcatraz Initiated (YA Fantasy. Being shopped to publishers)
17) Mistborn: Hero of Ages (Unfinished. Â Coming late 2007)
18) Dark One (Unfinished. Â YA fantasy)
19) Untitled Aether Project (Two sample chapters only.)

In the later mistborn books, will duralumin become useless without Mistborn to burn it? (Unless hemalurgy is still around, but it seems like it would be hard enough to find duralumin mistings, let alone spike them)

On a related note, it must really suck to be an aluminum misting.

I finished NaNoWriMo on the 28th if I'm remembering correctly.  Say, does anyone know why FMP just gave up on day six or so? It's pretty weird, considering that he was already two-fifths finished.

Well, the book images next to each of the forums are sometimes bright, and sometimes dark, which, judging from which are illuminated, I'm pretty sure show you which forums have new posts.

I got to 30,003 last night, which brings me officially back on schedule
Edit: Actually, on schedule would have been 30,006, so technically, I'm still three words behind it.

Speaking of which, is it just me, or did Spriggan say that that there could potentially be a forum award for finishing NaNoWriMo?

Finally, is this the first non-Spriggan post on the new forum?
Edit2: Nevermind, Entropy got it, I missed it because his name is Spriggan right now. But on the other hand, "first non-Spriggan post" is still true, so I can still go around saying that I was the first non-Spriggan poster, without technically being lying.

I thought I was going to totally fail, but I did 1900 words yesterday and I've done 2000 words today so far.

Hulk *does* pull Wolverine in half.
"Sniff, Sniff Sniff... My legs... I can smell my own damn LEGS. Sniff Sniff Sniff... Four miles. &%$#er threw my legs four miles. Up. &%$#er threw my legs four miles UP."

So he goes off to search for the legs. This is an awesome story.

Issue 1 ends with "Hi, Bruce. SNikt!"

It took me until you posted this quote to remember my friend telling me about this comic. I can't remember anything else though, except that he had thought the hulk would win.

By the way, what's the point of having an adamantium skeleton if your ligaments are normal, it's not like his healing wouldn't be able to handle broken bones.

Secondly, can't he regenerate internal organs?

Edit: Nevermind, the answer doesn't really matter since they never kill superheros.

While I don't think they're exactly conducting themselves professionally there, that is interesting.

Yeah, that's my one big problem with it.

It's actually from Eldest, but the fact that he used a nealy direct movie quote. As well as the one that was nearly exactly like Gandalf's line in the Fellowship when he says "Two eyes, as often as I can spare them." Just outrages me. That coupled with his inablity to pull sucessful suprises, or to put any urgency into his situations, or make up languages without vastly irregular consenants, or to make up a map that isn't there just so he can take you to every freakin' corner of it, pretty much ruined my confedance in his writing skills.

My big problem with it is that it contains

Nothing original.

Whatsoever.

Everything is lifted from somewhere else.

Maybe he'll actually learn how to be inventive and skillful someday, but from the looks of it that day is far off.

In an interview somewhere he said he doesn't read criticism of his work, so you're most probably correct.

On the topic of all that, someone's finally made an eragon anti-fan site.

http://www.anti-shurtugal.com/

I literally found it just yesterday.

On the topic of Eragon, I can't wait until the movie comes out and I can get to read the review TWG has on it, assuming the movie's as bad as the book.

Are we supposed to post when we get it?

Ok, I won't be able to make the meetings, I'll be able to go to the first one or two, but I don't know what the point of that would be.
