AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH. Payday is tomorrow instead of the 31st! I normally get direct deposit on the 15th and 30th. Crap! I have like, um, $.75 in my checking account now. Stupid gas prices. Guess I can't get that cape to complete my Bunnicula costume for tonight's pre-Halloweeen party.  >:(

*snort* That still makes me laugh. Thanks for posting it here so all can enjoy.

And remember, everyone, "A" is for "atium"!  ;D

Indeed. Then you and your roomie should read stuff and listen to TV in the background more often. ;)

Actually, the Inquisitors don't go around bare-chested. They wear tunics, hiding the spikes in their torsos--and for good reasons, which of course I can't tell ya because it would spoil reading the books. I'm not sure if you got the half-naked idea from one of inkthinker's sketches or something. Aaaanyhow, just the spikes through the eye sockets would be a tricky yet awesome thing to mimic in a costume.

Or you could just let your dog play with the shirt, assuming you have one (a dog, I mean).  ;D  Or, I wonder if using coarse sandpaper would help degrade the material. Hmm. You could probably find something about "weathering" fabric with a google search.

What I'm dying to know is how you will get the big spikes in your cranium without becoming a Halloween fatality. ;) I was thinking how shops sell those arrows or blades that are connected to a headband thing, so it looks like you've been stabbed in the head. I wonder if they have that sort of thing for spikes...

Yeah, that thought crossed my mind when I posted it 'cuz I know you're still looking and Manga is your specialty. Sorry. :(

Then again, maybe they would find you too good to pass up and create a higher-paid position for ya? A longshot, I know. But I've heard of it happening.

Sweet! I have resisted reading the e-manuscript because I knew Brandon already had enough feedback on this one. So I might as well wait until I can get the final version all nice and bound. :)

OK, yeah, I couldn't resist reading a few chs. But, still, I showed much restraint!

Interesting thought. But I'm pretty sure Pearson doesn't do that. They do have this "Emergency Ride Home" program in case the public transportation is down. Like if there is a fire on the red line subway or something. But, yeah, I doubt that Pearson helps out in that way. I could always call HR though. Doesn't hurt to ask! Thanks.
