I'm banking on Spirited Away at least making it to the Tower Theater in SLC. If it's going to be anywhere in Utah, it will probably be there. We'll just have to wait until the film establishes itself a little first.

I, however, disagree. Personally, I hated CoC. I'm an escapist, myself; so when I role-play, I want to be somewhere else.

I know, it's the screwiest bug I've seen in a forum. I just need to hit the button that deletes old messages...

Well, that is very sad, but the sadder truth is that basic cable companies just don't have very much money. If the company actually producing Farscape pulls out, there's nothing SciFi can do about it.

Still, I hope I'll be able to catch Season 4 reruns somewhere. The last season cliffhanger I saw is still just killing me.

I don't think it will last. Legislation like that in democratic (or at least open-speech--I'm not familiar with Greece's government) nations is too rediculous to stay intact. I bet the only reason it got passed in the first place is because the common people weren't paying attention to what their legislative bodies were doing, otherwise it would have been protested long before it got passed.

Okay, I read through most of the list, and you know what? I agree with Peter Jackson on his changes. Most of the changes found by the people on this website are rediculously inconsequential. As for Arwen and Eowyn, those are more major, but I like the new roles they've been given. They both had enormous effects on the events in the story but had very little parts. Why? Because Tolkien couldn't write women. It's a simple fact that he realized and intelligently compensated for. If you have to re-interpret a story to create a screenplay anyway, why not give important characters more screentime?

Don't get me wrong, though. I still hate having Liv Tyler in the role.

As a matter of fact, he demands complete and total control of what does and doesn't get put in the movie. That means if the film's producer, director, and editor all want to take something out, and Card doesn't want it taken out, then Card has to have his way. That's been the major delay on movie deals for his books.

And yes, I did hear that little piece of trivia straight from Card.
