Yes, but all of those were books were world changing events occurred, for example (SPOILERS): Elantris just before the Restorations of the Elantrians, Mistborn 1 before the Death of LR, book 2 before the release of Ruin, and book 3 (He was in the Fadrex cityat the same time as Vin) before the Two ascensions to Shardhood and the epical battles and world changing, WOK before the beginning of the Grand Scale of Events, and Warbreaker before the assassination (Though it was avoided) of Susebron, whom might be rather close to Shardhood. Is Alloy of Law going to be of such grand scale?

Under Rands abilities it said "Can take in enough One Power to end all life.".
GREGOR Cleganes said something to the point of "Monstrously large."

Well, I guess that it is more to show Rand as his own person, who actually comes to the realisation himself, forces himself to confront what he has become, instead of being forced by something och someone else. He is the one who is supposed to save the world, he has to have some will and power to deal with stuff of his own.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: Brandon's publication schedule
« on: February 27, 2011, 06:59:33 PM »
I think he said he won't be able to do Stormlight 2 and AMOL in the same year, so Stormlight 2 would be pushed one year. Not sure though, but I know Brandon didn't like the amount of stress Towers of Midnight & The Way of Kings put him in 2010.

That's what I remember him saying as well.  It'll probably be late 2013/early 2014 before we get Stormlight 2

Aww, really? :( That makes me a sad panda.
And does the world really need more sad pandas.
Oh, well. After Wot we'll get an unusually (For a HEF author) rigid and tight schedule. So at least we have that.

I think so, but either it has been delayed or scrapped (Hopefully the former.)

Brandon Sanderson / Re: Way of Kings Annotations

Where did Brandon get the idea to put annotations on his website? I have not seen other authors write them. They are very interesting. Its fun to see what went through his head when he was writing a certain part.
I think it was, at least partially, to get people to continue come to his website, for new material, and, but here I am just speculating, to explore his work.
