Oh, Kije, you make me laugh so hard.

Woursickle:

A popsicle made from klingons

What you say when you cut someone's head off with a scythe

A type of small fairy that is sickeningly cute, has huge eyes, dresses in pastels, and giggles

Spinning around and around until you throw up

Mmm, I want anything that Cafe Pierpont serves, especially those chicken things I can never remember the names of and their salsa bar.

Rants and Stuff / Re: letting my voice be heard

My mom wanted to be involved in the republican caucus (I think that's the right word) that was going to choose the republican candidate for Utah's governor.  However, she wasn't allowed in because she wanted to have Oleen Walker as the candidate.  The party powers didn't, so they wouldn't let her be involved. So she was trying to let her  voice be heard but wasn't given the option.

I personally think that we should have a "None of the above" option when voting.  Then, if no candidate gets enough votes, all the parties have to start over and find new candidates that are more palatable to the american people. I know it will never happen and would probably not work even if it did, but I would still like the option.

Skar, I suppose this isn't the point of this thread, but just so you know, absolutely no tithing money goes into the sports program at BYU (including the scholarships for football players). All of that money comes from donations from people who like BYU sports (poor lambs) and from what the sports programs earn.  I hate BYU football as much as anyone, but I thought we should be correct.

Everyone knows that fluoride is a communist plot to corrupt our precious bodily fluids. And  by the way, I did learn to stop worrying and love the bomb.

I almost feel as though some people in this thread are arguing just for the sake of arguing, but I'll put in my two cents anyway. Mainly, I just want to say that birth control and abortion are not the same thing even if they bring about the same ends "in the long run." Many different means can bring about the same ends, but that doesn't make the means equal. Next, your argument for why a fetus is on par with a plant is flawed. Plants don't have personalities, a fetus does. Don't even try to argue with me on this point because I've been pregnant and you haven't so experience is on my side. As for the embryo vs. fetus issues, you're just making the argument more complicated when you can't even convince anyone of the parts you've already argued. This whole thread is getting tired.

Why does no one talk of a live-action She-Ra? She had a unicorn with wings. That has to be every little girl's dream.
