I have a question about the prologue.  Is the plural of Shardplate Shardeplate? Or is it Shardplates?

Iam going out on a limb, and I think it is way too early to say, but I think that Dallet is Hoid. Just something about him smiling against all odds, it just seems like him.

Then again, Dallet is a warrior, which we haven't seen Hoid being yet.

EDIT- and Cenn as Ruin. (He is the red-haired shard from HoA, right?)

Never mind. I was writing as I was reading, and am displeased to learn that Kaladin thinks Dallet and Cenn are dead.

Spook is a reduced power Mistborn. 

My guess is that since TLR changed the genetic codes for the Balance and to make people survive ash, Kelsier suggested to Sazed that he do the same thing to Spook, and since he already had the right spiritual codes to be a misting, those were close enough to become a mistborn. Just a guess.

What if it turned out that Hoid was EVIL!?  He's always been more passive than anything, thus leaving his actual morality a sort of unanswered question until WoK comes out.

Except that he hasn't really been passive. He has delivered weapons and goods to the Elantrians,  given info to Kelsier, led a group of Terrismen from the hunting Inquisitors, tried to give info to Vin (perhaps something about the obligator being an allomancer?), and he gave much-needed information to Siri.

I wouldn't call that Evil. Or passive. Sure he may not be on the front lines, but he's is pushing the heroes toward victory the best way he can.

And (and this is all from my memory), it kind of sounded like Tindwyl chose to go on, while Kelsier wanted to meddle, and Vin and Elend had just barely died, so they decided to wait for a bit while Sazed cleaned up the world.

My vision of death in the Cosmere is that When you live you are connected to all three realms (physical, cognitive, spiritual).
When you die, you lose your connection to the physical realm, so you exist on the cognitive and spiritual realm.
This is why Sazed was able to talk to Kelsier and Elend and Vin, because they still existed on the cognitive realm. Tindwyl, on the other hand, decided to go on to just the spiritual realm, losing her connection to the spiritual realm.

This is just wild speculation.  It may be that the 'waiting place' is only for Allomancers, or maybe just for those that have an excessive amount of shard (allomancers) in them.


EDIT- Something else occured to me, and I didn't want to double post.

I think that Kelsier was only able to 'piggy-back' on Preservation's power because he didn't have a connection to the Physical Realm. 

When Vin, Ati, and Leras all lost the power, their bodies collapsed to the ground. But because Kelsier was dead, his didn't. This also explains why he was only able to talk in people's minds, instead being able to move the planet. He had no connection to the physical realm, so he can't affect the physical realm.
