PS when sazed said that there were two more metals, I think he included the two god metals in his count of 16
Somewhere in the big Mistborn Q&A thread, Brandon said Sazed was referring to two base metals.

First, I think you mean duralumin rather than aluminum.  Aluminum has no positive effect beyond making it easier to avoid metal poisoning - it gets rid of your metals to no effect.  Duralumin is the one that gives a super-flare.

Second, your hypothesis has a major problem: Neither hemalurgy nor mistborn are required to achieve a bendalloy super-flare.  A nicrosil misting can give other people super-flares, so you'd just need a team of one bendalloy misting and one nicrosil misting.  Much easier than finding duralumin mistings (who probably never mention or use their useless ability) or using hemalurgy, and especially much easier than doing both.

The big questions I've got about this are whether it reveals:
A) any new feruchemical metal properties
B) any more of the organization and principles of hemalurgy
C) any new allomantic savant effects
D) the details and limitations of Rashek-style allomancy/feruchemy combo use.

The fact that hiring a feruchemist needs an appointment shows that feruchemists are likely much more rare than allomancers now.  This is likely because all the true feruchemists were killed and the ones now probably came from people with recessive feruchemical genes.

Actually, I think that's because the feruchemists need advance warning to make sure their metalminds have enough charge.

Ironeyes is an odd connection.  Sanderson has hinted that Marsh may be alive, but what are the odds that people would connect him to his old nickname?  Coincidence?

He has large metal spikes driven through his eyes that are quite prominent and probably the thing everyone who ever sees him notices the most.  The connection from that to "Ironeyes" seems quite obvious.

The woman seeing her dead husband save her seems to imply that more Inquisitors are being made, but by whom?  Could this be why allomancers are being kidnapped?

Actually, I think that was probably a Kandra.  Also, I think that the "Faceless Immortals" are the Kandra.  Their genuine hemalurgic spikes (which every last one of them has) make it easy for Sazed to communicate with them, explaining the "Hands of Harmony" bit perfectly; their shapeshifting abilities explain why they would be "faceless"; they've always been immortal.  Everything fits.

Life Across the Ocean? shows that we will likely be introduced to the people of the southern hemisphere.  If they have a different magic system, the "mystical Unkown Metals", then perhaps it could explain the Vanishers?
Unless another Shard has shown up, I think we've already seen every magic system on Scadrial.  As for additional metals in the existing magic systems, that would negate the emphasis on 16 from the original trilogy and wouldn't make sense with the reveals we got from the few people who did get full knowledge of the entire system through Shard use.  The only "unknown" metals that might show up are the various alloys of the god metals, and those could only come from Sazed's intervention.

Everything said by Allomancer Jak is likely a lie.  In fact, I doubt there is even a real person named "Allomancer Jak".  Still, his story at least shows that koloss still exist and in tribes.  And if only one generation of using old spikes could create someone as sophistocated as Human, imagine how sophisticated koloss may be after three hundred years of using them.  They may even be able to create weapons of as "incredibly fine make" as Jak claims.
Yeah, it seems clear to me that the whole thing is a fabrication designed to help sell the paper with just enough grounding in reality to give it plausibility.  The hinting at continued production of new koloss through spiking might be no more than a reference to ancient legends, or it might contain a kernel of modern truth, I have no idea.

Since they all take place in the Cosmere.  What if a Feruchemist ate some Lerasium, then went and bought enough biochromatic breath to reach the 10th heightening, and then randomly got picked to become an Elantrian?

p.s. I haven't read WoK yet.
He'd become* Hoid. :P

* After also picking up every WoK magic system, plus all the as yet unpublished ones from other worlds.

Now that I've thought about it a bit more, I'm abandoning my mistborn-bendalloy/duralumin theory even as a long shot.  You don't actually need a mistborn to produce that effect, just a bendalloy misting and a nicrosil misting, and the people dismissing a sufficiently large speed bubble as impossible in the book should know that.

What I'd like to know is what kind of spike Waxillium's earring is, and what ability or attribute it grants or enhances.  I got the impression from the chapter that Waxillium (along with probably most of the world population) doesn't know anything about hemalurgic spikes and is just putting it in because it's traditional, but it clearly is a spike and allows Sazed to communicate through Ruin's hemalurgy backdoor.  It also makes me wonder who the woman who gave it to him is, as she almost certainly does know about hemalurgy.

When I read the bit about it being impossible to make a speed bubble big enough, my first thought was "what about a mistborn using duralumin?"  Sure, mistborn are incredibly rare now so it's a bit of a long shot, but they're not completely gone - Brandon has said that the next full trilogy, which will happen later in the time line, will feature a mistborn serial killer as the antagonist.

As I recall, one of the Marsh (controlled by Ruin) viewpoint scenes mentions that there are hundreds of bind points for hemalurgic spikes.  With that many, it seems quite reasonable that a substantial number could be redundant duplicates.

I do not agree with her actions in tearing down all of Rand's banners, that was a bit of a slap to the face as if saying "thanks, but no thanks" or "I don't need you anymore."  I didn't feel like that demonstrated the social grace you guys are all talking about at all.  Especially since he had just saved her country from civil war and saved the Lion Throne for her.
Unless I am greatly mistaken, Rand was not the intended audience for that action.  She did it not as a message to Rand, but as a message to Andor to say that she would be her own ruler rather than Rand's figurehead.  Getting that message out in a way that would be believed was critical to her bid for the throne, and taking down Rand's banners is a far more effective and necessary step for that than any speech or statement she could possibly make.

If their ultimate plot is to sell more Miles Vorkosigan books by giving the first one away free, it worked... I'm hooked.
Maybe I shouldn't say this (if it discourages you from buying), but you can actually download almost every Vorkosigan book for free. Baen puts out a CD with many hardcovers that has previous ebooks on it, and they encourage this CD to be shared. Search for Baen CD the fifth imperium.
There's an important one that's not on that CD, though - Memory.

Point two. Granting this info is . . . a little old . . . but! It also implies that in the next series, Marsh will be there! Of course this may have changed and Marsh might only be in Alloy of Law . . . if he makes an appearance.

The health storing/burning probably could extend your life a bit, but even being sick for a little while at 350 might kill you  :D
Also see this post.  Marsh has an initial supply of Atium that will last him for quite a while, and there's a pretty good chance Sazed would give him more when he runs out.

I'd forgot about him being asked to reorganize the knights.  Didn't Nohadon tell him something like, "give back to men the shards they once bore" or something to that effect?
Not Nohadon, it was The Almighty in the final vision, the one where he said he was dead and didn't even know who'd be receiving his message.  One of my favorite lines ever.

"Life before death.  Strength before weakness.  Journey before destination.  Speak again the ancient oaths, and return to men the shards they once bore.  The Knights Radiant must stand again."

So...even though Atium is "legendary" by the time of Alloy of Law, does anyone have any indication of what feruchemical properties it would have?  If it was the ability to "see the future", what would be the opposite to store it?  Would it be "wandering around clueless" for a while, or temporary loss of memory?  Sort of like the opposite of storing a history?
Atium's Feruchemical property was revealed in Mistborn 1.  It's age.  Actually, I think it would be more accurate to call it youth.  Start storing in it and you grow older.  Tap it and you grow younger.  Store in it, then swallow and burn it, and you grow a LOT younger.  It's how Rashek achieved his immortality to become the Lord Ruler.

There's actually a theory, which I think is pretty plausible, that all ten original Heralds are still alive and may be convinced to take up arms again by the end of the series.  Part of this theory is that the art-destroying woman is one of them, and she's specifically destroying art that depicts herself.  Also, that the statue Szeth notices is missing in the prologue was destroyed by her.

I remember Vin specifically noting at one point that Sazed was wearing glasses, and that this was odd because he never had before.  This was right after the time he'd burned through some stored reserves to rescue Vin from Inquisitors at Kredick Shaw, including using improved eyesight to find her, and he was clearly trying to restore the spent resources.  So, Sazed does have spectacles but he only needs them when he's deliberately downgrading and storing his sight with Feruchemy.
