The hackers must have re-hacked it more recently, since I changed my email address on this account this last month, and that spreadsheet has my new email.

EDIT: It'd be funny if we could get this guy banned from Blogger for posting personal information.

My email is there as well, and I only joined this forum in June, so yes, definitely a more recent hack than just April.

well, all of the links provided in the original post are dated for August 16th, So i think maybe April was accidentally typed instead of august? :P

I'm actually working my way through the books again in anticipation for the release of the final book next year (though, through audio book this time). I'm on fires of heaven right now near the end, and Rand just got word about Elayne's mother's "death" and the crowning of "Lord Gaebril". Looking it up really quick (on http://encyclopaedia-wot.org), the earliest I can find elayne learning about her mother's "death" is in The path of daggers, chapter 20, which is actually right at the end of the whole "bowl of winds" debacle.

Also, for the record, i would just like to say that I personally am not a fan of her, because she was nobly born and raised, and acts as such (she's stubborn, spoiled, and early on fairly clueless about the world)

I am wondering what mine is as well. Seeing as it has been so long.

EDIT* Im not upset about Victorious Mercenary. Has a nice ring to it.

technically, isn't that all a mercenary can hope for? Afterall, being a losing mercenary is bad for business.

How do I mark spam again?

fyi: Eerongal there appears to be a spambot, since every post contains a shameless plug. Its likely just checking context clues for the conversation and trying to post something that sounds relevant, so i wouldnt pay attention to anything it says.

 ;D

but...but.. imma friendly spambot! D:

What? I don't have any friends here (except Erongal he's the closest thing but I'm not sure I can consider him a friend)

Brandon Sanderson / Re: Something I just realized... (WOT)

Fain has appeared in Brandon's WoT books.  He's up in the Blight, killing Myrdraal and making Mashadar-Zombie Trollocs while walking towards where he thinks the Last Battle will be.

You're right. I forgot about that. It's a short blurb in the prologue of towers of midnight.

Brandon's on the record as saying that he doesn't like having truly evil characters, and just about all the villains in the Cosmere tend to be sympathetic in some way.

It would be difficult to argue, from just about any philosophical perspective, that Padan Fain is not capital-E Evil.

I don't believe I've seen Fain since Brandon took over.

Hmm...

I don't think we've seen fain since winter's heart (book 9). I know slayer was supposed to hunt and kill him, but i dont think we've heard anymore about that since then. I'm guessing fain is up to something, and we're about to find out what in the last one.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: A conclusion I have come to . . . .

That's exactly what I'm saying.

Especially considering Brandon does do cameos.

Ew, steak is gross.

ok, i'll have a steakout, and you can have a sushi-out or something.

so you're saying Hoid = Peter. Interesting.....This certainly deserves some investigation. Miyabi, let's organize a stakeout, and get some real answers! (And afterwards, if we're hungry, we can have a steakout)

this wouuldn't work.

Trust me...it works, unless they changed something since yesterday.

This doesn't work. And i can prove it. Try it with this poll. I just did in both firefox and chrome, using the exact steps you posted, and it doesn't work.

Like i said, polldaddy has a setup to check for this exact thing. Now, this check can be disabled, but if the people running the cage match are doing this, they're shooting themselves in the foot.

Edit: also, commonly, a lot of people THINK this work because in the time it took them to go vote on something a second time, someone else has all ready voted, so they think they ended up doing it.

I changed my mind; I'm not going to make anyone PM me for the method. The reason I put "cheating" in quotes is

...Snip!...

A hint - it's much more fun to do this with a friend or two, as the results are more satisfying. Please feel free to share this around the various Brandon forums. Good luck guys, and may the best contender win!

this wouuldn't work. The poll daddy polls they use check your IP address for redundant voting, and private browsing (AKA 'porn mode') wouldn't do anything to stop this.

The only way to do it would require you doing the above steps (to avoid cookies thwarting you), in addition to manually force-changing your IP (which, depending on your ISP, may not be possible) or by using different proxy server each time.

Breakfast is only good if it's fun.

And what if peter uses those ingredients to draw a smiley face? are you still going to tell me that it's not fun?

Eerongal, I'm eleven. I don't fully understand the internet. I'm still going to be a member, but I'm just not going to post threads, because, let's face it, no matter how hard I try, my threads are going to be stupid boring, or completely random. I'm not going to completely quit TWG, because I really like reading other people's posts. What's the deal with this Utopia Green thing ???

UtopiaGreen was a very obvious, obnoxious troll we had here a few years ago. you can find his various posts and stuff through the memberlist. His posts are pretty much a shining example of how not to act.

Edit: also, don't be put off because we thought you were a troll. these days, its so common for some people to just jump on to places like this simply to provoke others for fun that it's taken almost for granted, and is an all too easy conclusion to arrive at.
