So, is the lifepath similar to what you would find in Cyberpunk 2020? I've always been a fan of Cyberpunk's way of doing things, even though it is quite brutal at times.

Not being particularly stealth inclined, Olan did his best to attract as little attention as possible. If there was anywhere comfortable to sit out of sight range of the guardposts, he sat down and began to nurse a flask of fine brandy. He offered Dink some, not knowing whether Structs could drink or not. While drinking, he thought about how best to create a distraction if things went poorly, bringing him back to the notion that he really needed some bombs.

"The hardness of the landing doesn't matter all that much. Once, at my request, my crew shot me out of one of our cannons just to see what would happen. I was just fine, though that rather unfortunate whale was a bit worse off for the endeavor."

"Halfing? Dammit, can't ye tell the difference between a halfing and a dwar... oh, you were talking about the small one."

Olan adjusted his bandoleer, and pulled out a rapier and brace of pistols. As he checked the pistols for jams and the rapier for nicks, he said "I'll be right here if anyone's needin' some heroic rescuing from angry guards or anything else like that. I'm not so great at the sneaking game, and those walls be a good deal bigger than I am. I don't climb too well either."

Looking at Dink, he added "So, do ye think ye might be able to throw me to the top if I had a rope and a hook to get onto it with?

Olan took a swig from his flask, and followed Solon out of the building.

"Subtle? Perhaps you should wear your big feathery hat for this occasion, comrade. It would surely give the guards something to look at while the others sneak about," Jobber whispered to Olan as they left the building. At this suggestion, Olan twirled his mustache a bit, and began to give some serious thought to it.

"Alright, while they're all off sneakin' about, what do ye want me to be doing?" Olan asked Solon. His accent seemed to have switched almost mid-sentence, going from fairly erudite to pirate for no apparent reason.

"I've got an idea," Olan chimed in suddenly.

Turning to Dink and sizing the Struct up, a bit of a mischevious grin flashed across his face for a few fleeting moments. "I'm under the impression that most Structs are quite strong fellows. A bit too heavy to be of use on the ship, but strong nonetheless. I did once run into a ship run entirely by Structs, funny looking metal beast... oh, yes, the idea. If this mansion is a normal mansion, I would assume that it has a roof, and some manner of access to the roof from the inside. If one or two of us could get to the top, we could test out the mansion's defense against aerial infiltration. It would be simple for the faerie to get up there, since he flys. The second team member, most likely myself, would need your assistance in getting up there. How far do you think ye can throw a dwarf into the air?"

Paying absolutely no attention to what the rest of the team was talking about, Olan walked up beside Solon, and got his attention with a clearing of his throat.

"I'm thinking some explosives are in order. Nothing to bring the building down around our ears, but nothing makes a better distraction than someone such as myself running about throwing bombs. Or if we're that concerned with sneaking about, we should get some burglar tools out to me and anyone else who wants them. Not that I would know anything about criminal activities..."

With that his thought process trailed off. He continued to carry on a conversation with himself, waiting for a reply from the psychic.

When Solon asked whether there were any objections, Olan replied:

"I wouldn't hurt yourself trying to pick through my mind friend. A few too many backalleys and fog banks, even for someone with your particular talents."

After a second of thought, and a few muttered words to himself, he added something about "the current inhabitants not taking  kindly to your poking around either."

While saying all of this, Olan looked directly into Solon's eyes (or at least, as much as he could given his height), giving the Illuman the distinct impression that any intrusion into the dwarf's psyche was unlikely to end well for either of them.

Having gotten his point across, Olan headed off to the quartermasters, not bothering to wait for anyone who showed even the slightest sign of hesiatance.

Olan looked over the agreement thoroughly before signing it. He huffed a bit at the part about no looting, but found it to be altogether satisfactory. After signing it, he went back to looking over his newfound team members, particularly at the Illuman.

"Hmmmm... a brainiac. He should be amusing," Jobber whispered quietly within the confines of Olan's skull. At this Olan chuckled a bit to himself, then quieted the demon under his breath.

Olan takes a swig from one of his flasks, puts it back into his jacket, and enters.

"*mumble, mumble* ... apologies..."

Olan studies the elf, loses interest quickly, and starts looking around the room for anything out of the ordinary. He waits until the elf says something else before taking any other actions.
