As happy as I am for you, Ookla, I just can't help but groan over the fact that you will once again know the stories first, and subtley torture us during our theory sessions *cough*Mistborn*cough*  :-\

A good assumption, but it is also possible that the DO's control over the taint is very strong.  It can prevent the taint from affecting Its  "Chosen" channelers, it is not that far a leap to believe that It can also remove the affects of the taint.

Wow, anatomy humor.  :D  How about some Advice puns?  I can only think of one right now:

A wise man once said; "It takes many nails to build a crib but only one screw to fill it".

Wow that one was bad darxbane....i mean that was REALLY bad... worst than blonde jokes :P

I question your judgement on humor, Kaz.  Some blonde jokes are really funny.

We always have a collation after funerals here, and it always involves a ton of food.  I picked American, though I really don't have a distinct favorite.

I'm from Woonsocket, RI, which is about 20 minutes from Providence and an hour Southwest of Boston.

Come on!  If he learned them gradually he wouldn't have been able to say the "I know Kung Fu" Matrix reference.  Of course, it would be nice if he has both of his hands covered in cold packs during the next episode.  sudden talent drilled into your brain doesn't give you the physical conditioning, so he should be one hurtin' unit once the adrenalin goes down.

I would have already called the bank by now, if I were you.

Or maybe they just spelled your title wrong.  If you were to slay me, that would make you "Darxbane's bane", which is too confusing.

Sarah, are you really that surprised?  After all, God walks among men for most of Genesis, particularly with Abraham.  I have never asked about the sheep thing.  I'll let you know. You can get a grasp of their philosophy by reading about Kent Hovind.  It appears Kaz was raised by a Baptist sect similar to the people I know.

I agree that he started to drag it out a bit, but I don't think it was for cash.  He had two more prequal novels and outrigger novels planned that could net the cash after the story was done.  I believe he just loved the series so much he didn't want it to end.  I disagree about book 9; I thought it was pretty good.  I admit that I was first introduced to the series just after book 10 came out, so like a lot of people have said, my reading the series all the way through with no time in between may color my perspective.  I certainly sympathize with those who have been waiting almost 20 years to see the end of this thing.

The cleansing was awesome, especially the Dashiva story arc.  I love irony.

Hey, Jade Knight is a Darkbane Paladin now.  Does that mean he works for me?

I understand now.  You base your beliefs purely by your own experience, if at all possible.  No intuitive leaps, just pure Empiricism.  I can respect that.

Not to nitpick, but disbelief does not always mean you are denying truth.  It also means exactly what your definition of non-belief is; which is that you do not accept the evidence presented as sufficient proof.
