My poor </3
Gonna have to enroll in BYU for a semester to read it.  Not go to class mind you, just get my hands on the book and rub it in the face of the friends I've hooked on mistborn...
Wow, a semester of college and a lock box (for after I rub it in my friends faces) is gonna be rather expensive to read a book... WORTH IT! (I just got my box of 20 Final Empires in the mail and I'm handing those out too :))

@Natalie
I personally have a hard time finding a woman who reads like I do.  My last GF broke up with me becase "I read too much." :'(

Anyway, I've converted a total of 8 people now and 6 indirectly.  The first 8 were across several weeks of D&D, where I kept talking about Mistborn while we were playing.  From there, they got some of their friends into it.

I love talking about Brandon Sanderson books ^____^

I'd... actually be afraid of a mistborn movie...
Brandon put great effort into the whole "You can only push or pull"  I can just imagine a movie making it practically look like they're flying or cutting it up so horribly to make it fit into 1 1/2 hours.

If anything, I hope Mistborn goes the way that A Song of Ice and Fire goes and Showtime picks up the books.  Taking each book and making it a season long (2 hour pilot movie, 12 episodes total per season, 3 seasons).  Just make sure that somebody like Showtime gets it, or it'll be butchered like The Sword of Truth.

We know that Vasher has more information and experience with how to use Breath than pretty much anyone else currently living.  Vasher has some way of Returning and un-Returning himself.  My guess would be that as long as he's in un-Returned form, he can use up Breath just like anyone else, even to the point of becoming a drab.
He wasn't un-Returned, he simply changed his body (which according to Vasher anyone could do)
I thought maybe it was along the same lines of why Vivienna could do it since she's a descendant of Returned.

A question about Vasher.
How can Vasher use all his breath and become a drab? Doesn't using all their breath extinguish their life?

Also, is this a stand alone book? It seems like it could spin off into another beautiful trilogy :)

I have to agree with Felastizairu in that the daggers look more like sais.
Otherwise, BA seems to sum it up nicely.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: Brandon To Write Wheel of Time Book 12

I have a Question, and this is not attempting to be in anyway disrespectful. Mr. Sanderson, I have read and thoroughly enjoyed Warbreaker, The Final Empire and I am currently reading The Well of Ascension. I have also read a large portion of these threads (including the 40 or so pages of the Warbreaker thread and the Fan Art thread). Now my question is this, why do you spend so little time describing the physical settings and clothing in your books?  It never entered my consciousness when I was reading the books, but it really became evident when viewing the FanArt threads, especially your comments therein.  Your description of the men's costumes being similar to circa 1800 England was a bit jarring as I viewed them more utilitarian ( even the nobles ' attire) more 1840's  early Industrial Age England  (maybe from from the way Breese was described). In any case, what I am trying to ask is whether the sketchy descriptions were intentional to coincide with the general "dark" imagryor was there another intent? Again, I'm not saying that you should have used more descriptiive language, I thoroughly enjoyed the books, but am still curious.
Honestly I don't think that there will be much room for that kind of in-depth description as there is a lot of stuff that they're going to need to fit into that final book.

Seer was my first though too, and Oracle would be down right cool.
I thought it would be cool if atium burners were called shades since they see shadows of the future.
