Can I just say that the series this comic spins off of is pretty cool too. Planet Hulk was a good comic, then there was World War Hulk, which I didn't read much of, but it looked cool. Now there's Skaar, Son of Hulk and The Incredible Hercules. The latter started after issue #112 of Incredible Hulk, changing its name to Incredible Hercules and has been flat-out awesome fun.

Also, try out SFFmuse. There's a bunch of writers on there who post their work for others to read. There's plenty of places to discuss other topics as well. I'm not sure if you have to be invited to join or what, but give it a try and let me know.

SFFmuse is also more open about some subject matter and rarely, if ever, offended by any off-collar/non-PC comments/posts. So, don't be afraid of offending anyone there.

Yesterday George Carlin died. I don't know who around here was a fan of his, but I loved his standup and the movies he was in.

I even grew up with him on Thomas the Tank Engine as the Conductor.

You will be greatly missed sir.

Infinite Crisis is obvious, from the big 'Crisis' on the spine.

Someone ought to just get his good camera in there and clear up this graininess. =P

Well, that kind of sucks. I guess it's not all bad, if you've read the details about Tokyopop's "contest". I'm glad to see you're still inside your field. Great interview too.

This year has been so depressing with the death's of some great names in gaming and comics.

Some friends and I have an idea for a game using Amber coming up soon. I'll definitely have to let them know about this.

Music / Re: Suggestions

I don't know why, but I've been in this crazy techo phase for the past week. Nothing but Daft Punk really, but I've tried to diverge and nothing worked.

What can TWGers suggest to get me off the Daft Punk road, but stay on that sort of tone and beat?

Also, their "Alive" album is a GREAT live album.

I'm trying to go. I want to go very badly. I think I can do it too. It's in July, 24-27, which is pretty much my birthday "weekend."

But anyway, I wanted to see if there was anyone else around here who'd like to go and split the cost of a hotel room? That'd be cool if I could find someone who'd want to. PM me or leave a post or something.

Movies and TV / Re: Goodkind's Wizard's First Rule to Become ABC TV Series
« on: February 01, 2008, 06:24:48 AM »
Well, this makes me both happy and sad. Happy, because I am a big Goodkind fan and have enjoyed his Sword of Truth series. (Although I haven't finished it yet.) Sad, because it most likely won't be on HBO and won't be as high caliber as I might hope. Sprig, this line: "Janice Marinelli, president of Disney-ABC Domestic TV, said "Wizard's" will be a "network-quality show..." says it all that it won't be on HBO. But it could very well fall onto Sci-fi or USA or some other big network.

Now, as for Raimi working on this, that's cool. I liked his Xena and Hercules shows. I hope he somehow gets Kevin Sorbo to be in this somehow. I'd totally make out with Sorbo if I were into men. My only problem with this is the fact that it might turn campy. SoT is anything but camp, so we'll see how this turns out.

Yeah, like I said that's (possibly) moving time, so all my money's will be channeled into that venture. Sorry, but I have to decline on this one. Have fun.

« on: January 16, 2008, 03:08:29 AM »
Hello everyone. A question for those willing to answer: could you give me some lyrics that talk about what you might have done with some friends or a lover? Lyrics that don't easily give away the song, but if someone were to be looking they could find them.

Thanks!
