The maps were a bit small on the nook edition as well. But, my solution for that is I went with the triple play. The day it came out I got the Nook e-book of Barnes and Noble online as I stood inline to by the hardcover and the audio book  ;D
The Hardcover is an absolutely beautiful book. I am very impressed with the layout and artwork.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: Favourite Minor Character

I have to say for me it is Teft. Although I am not sure he is a minor character. It is because there is a lot to him. His past in the military, his upbringing with parents who longed for the Radiants return.  ;D

Cheese Ninja, I got to say that was an incredibly impressive bit of work you did there. As you read the book these things begin to fall into place and you form ideas. But, what you did with that post lays it out in a great way. Well done  ;D

Okay, he is not dead. Also as has been stated previously by others the blades of the heralds do not dissipate when dropped. I am pretty sure that the blades of the heralds are dawn-shards. From the prelude one herald died in the final battle before the breaking of the oath pact. The other nine go their separate ways leaving the one who died still bound by the oath pact, this Herald being of course Talenel. His shard being spear like perhaps he will in time give it to Kaladin but, no he is not dead now.

Cool deal!! A t-shirt maybe tied in to the Knights Radiant would be awesome  ;D  Maybe with my favorite phrase or something? (See my signature line for the phrase I mean) I am sure I will love the shirt and probably wear it out.

A Szeth vs. Kaladin fight would be super cool. I worry of course that Szeth may kill Dalinar but, I really don't see that happening. Maybe just some paranoia from my time reading George R.R. Martin. That man uses his characters like kleenex. I really want to see the rising of the new Knights Radiant. When that was mentioned in the book I got goose bumps! I really look forward to seeing what happens between Hoid and Talenel. Oh hells, I just want the second book out now!!

There are so many great ideas here. The I'm wearing your mom idea kills me though, way too funny. I can just see Shen's face if he heard that. Just want to say I just purchased the Stormlight Archive title t-shirt off the site, can't wait till I get it!!! I would be down with ANY Stormlight Archive t-shirts you decide to sell  ;D

Brandon Sanderson / Re: Impact of Book Signings?

I would say the real benefit is an intangible one. It does foster loyalty and dedication. That means those fans will be likely to talk to others about Brandon..I know I do. What other best selling author you know answers emails personally? Sends advanced chapters to his fans? Actually speaks to his fans on forums and facebook? You get the picture. The book signings just fosters more of that type of thing.

Well, mine was perfect as well. I got a bit carried away as I bought the book, the audio cd's and the ebook for my nook. I love his writing and I can't wait for the next book to come out!! What a great start to an epic series. I assume something just happened with the ones where you saw them.
