CabbyHat--  That's a fun idea! I wonder if this could be a spoof of Hard Rock Cafe shirts...

@guy: we're working on getting some hoodies up.  I think we'll have them up sometime in October.  As for polo shirts and button ups, I'll pass the word along to my wife, and we'll see what we come up with.  Thanks for the feedback!

For everyone, Kara has put another T-shirt contest to help spread the word that Inkwing is open for business.  Here's the link for it, if anybody is interested: http://tiny.cc/8co6j

Like the Horneater Stew idea.  I'm working to get some of these ideas sketched up.  When I get them done, I'll be posting them in this topic (and probably over at 17th Shard as well) to get some feedback.

I'm impressed.

@Stormblessed  Peter also had a huge impact on the creation of the script.  His insights were invaluable.

AndrewMM: We've got several ideas coming down the pipeline for Stormlight Archive in general.  One is the "Life Before Death, etc."  Another says something along the lines of "10 heartbeats."  As more ideas come up, I'll be sure to post here.

zarepath: LOVE the "Kaladin is my homie" idea.  Rock's name t-shirt would be awesome, too, especially by wrapping his name from the front of the shirt to the back.

jacobfake: This is an awesome idea!  InkThinker's work is so beautiful and illustrative, who wouldn't want his artwork on a shirt!

All:  Keep the awesome ideas coming!  I'll be posting some pictures later in the week.  There are so many good ideas here that I can't figure out which ones to pick!

So many good ideas from this thread.  Thanks, everyone, for chiming in here.

@AndrewMM I hope you like the Stormlight Archive shirt when it arrives.  It's one of my favorites.  We hope to do more Stormlight shirts in the near future.

As for the Bridge 4 Shirt.  We may have to put a couple of versions up online and see what people think.  The "Your Mom" shirt has everyone laughing.  Another slogan idea would be: I survived Bridge 4

I'll post some rough versions of the different ideas: crew lineup, your mom, Kaladin silhouette... in the next few days.

@SmokinEmber   "I'm wearing your mom."  Yes, irreverent, but it cracks me up!

@CreativeVortex  The character lineup is a great idea.  Feel free to do thumbnails, if you want.  We're just brainstorming here!  Whether with words or drawings, it doesn't matter! :)

Those are some fun ideas for slogans.  My favorite so far would have to just be: Bridge 4: Soup's On!

Other ideas:

Bridge 4: Sitting Ducks since 1147
Kaladin is my Captain
Kaladin's Bridgemen
Rough, Tough, Great for Target Practice
Kaladin's Company
Semper Fidelis

Idea #6: Bridge 4 featuring Kaladin's viewpoint symbol: the spears thrust toward a banner.

Inkthinker: No need to pick just one.  I'm with you, however. #3 or #1 for me at this point.

Just trying to brainstorm with people who know the series.  I've asked people at work, and for some reason the humorous one is garner the most votes.  Maybe I'll do a rough mockup of some of these and post them for feedback/comments.

Hey guys, this is Isaac from Inkwing.com (the same Isaac who worked on the interior art for Mistborn and Way of Kings).  I've heard talk that a Bridge 4 Crew t-shirt would be a fun idea for us to put up on the website.

I'd like to get all ya'll's input as I go to the design table to come up with something.  Is this a shirt you would be interested in?  Any ideas of what you would like on a shirt like this?

Some ideas I've toyed with:

1) (humorous) A silhouette of a guy pincushioned with arrows with slightly-wacky text that says: "Bridge 4 Crew"
2) (serious) The Alethi glyphs for the number 4 (slightly distressed) and in the background. "Bridge 4 Crew" superimposed over the top of that glyph.
3) (designed) A huge number 4 with some Alethi designs in the middle of it--that superimposed over a smaller "Bridge Crew"

Thanks for your input, everyone!  (Any feedback about the other shirts, etc on our website is always appreciated as well.)

Thanks, Inkthinker, for pointing that out.

kain243, I'll talk with Peter and Brandon and see if we can get a larger map posted online somewhere.

I see your point (and I think we've discussed this before).  Though I'd disagree about Whelan capturing the feel of the book--I don't feel and sort of emotion behind the painting.  It doesn't evoke an emotional response like a Picacio or a Martiniere.  Of course, this is strictly a personal opinion, and I can easily see how others love it, and why Marketing is going for the Whelan cover.

Bookstore Guy: I think you're exactly right.  It's a matter of taste.  For example, while Picacio is a nice guy at the Cons and everything, and I think he is a very good artist, I don't care for the look of books with his artwork on them.  (This is obviously not the case with other people.  His artwork, when seen in person, is gorgeous.)  You and I both agree that Martiniere makes great covers.  And as for me,  I will pick up a book with a Whelan cover no matter who the author is.

Having said that, I do wish I could see more of the cover through the largeness of Brandon's name.  :)
