Commented elsewhere about the art, but meh, well... it's the same style as the others, I guess.

Except with mystery tavern wench behind him.

Delurkifying briefly here...

My name is Danielle, and I got here from Brandon Sanderson's website. I'm from Idaho Falls (not LDS though), but am currently a student at Clemson University in South Carolina. I'm a heavy reader (though not in recent past, as science courses tend to absorb time like nobody's business), and actually started lurking/reading/posting here because of Sanderson's connection to the Wheel of Time, although I'd heard of him before since he's vaguely local.

I don't D&D or WoW. My nerdly interests lie more in science and music.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: How did you find out about Brandon Sanderson?

Ironically, I heard about him a few years ago before tWoT announcement. I live in eastern Idaho, and frequently go to the library, where one of my friends was working as a page. She suggested this new book called Elantris by a somewhat local guy (seriously, eastern Idaho might as well be an annex of Utah...). I checked it out, but I (still) have a bad habit of checking out more books than I can read before they're due, and other people had holds on Elantris.

Cue several years... a few minor mentions, like another friend's new puppy accidentally teething on someone else's signed copy of Elantris... sad day for any book lover.

Then I pop over to wotmania (NOT dragonmount- hee) and see that Harriet's decided on someone to finish aMoL... and it happens to be Sanderson. I received a copy of Mistborn for my birthday, and well, got hooked. This past year, I got some of my fellow bibliophiles on campus to read Mistborn, feeling vaguely like a missionary... oh well.

Came across this thread as I lurked about the forums. Kudos for joining the wotmaniacs! :D

I started my reread in preparation for tGS in November, but alas, I'm finding starting at the beginning slow again. However, your recaps of 4-8 (which occasionally blend together in my head... particularly the last few) encourage me to get there.

Regarding Asmo's death, isn't it obvious? Bela and Narg tag-teamed it using the True Sauce, a killer snack of pasta perfection.

Alack and alas, I guess I should've stuck around to hear your epic questions... oh well.

When I asked him my silly question about Hoid's nonappearance in Alcatraz, I think he mentioned something about a steampunk YA novel called Scribbler (having a hard time remembering even though it was just last Saturday), but I don't remember its connection to the Andolasium 'verse thing.

Grah, I'm useless. But on the plus side, I'm no longer lurking! :D
