The interview looks great. If anyone needs any other questions answered, feel free to ask them here or to post them on the Lucid Raven forums (www.lucidraven.com). I'm usually on the fourms during the day (also as GuJiaXian).

Yeah, send him a reminder this weekend. He's *ahem* quite stressed at the moment.

I have cards in hand as I type this. I've bought five starters already (with a whopping 65% of the set, after some trades).

Talk with Andrew and I'm sure he can set you guys up.

Sure. Just tell me exactly what you'd like me to say. I'm one of four people that have actually seen the complete set (I edited the actual proofs from Cardamundi). I'm also in charge of the company newsletter (the first issue of which went out yesterday).

Sent, Spriggan. I agree, I should have posted about the release sooner, but life has been busy (full-time school Spring *and* Summer terms, finals this week, etc.).

Oh, I'm sure Andrew (the head guy) would love to. He's pretty busy (esp. with the game about to hit the shelves), and I think he's taking off soon to go to Origins in Ohio, but an e-mail interview should work well. He's "Monk" on the Lucid Raven forums.

Sounds good. Unlike a lot of other ccgs, Allegiance really shines with three or more players.

Perhaps we could do some playtesting while Eric is in town.

As for the review, I'm planning on writing one for Leading Edge. Perhaps after playing, one of you could put something together for TWG.

Just thought I'd point out that Allegiance is coming out on Friday (June 18th). There are two contests still running:

1) Sign up on the forums (http://www.lucidraven.com/phpBB2/index.php) and post in the "referral" thread for a chance to win a box of boosters.

2) Sign up for the newsletter (http://www.lucidraven.com/mailing.html) (first one went out yesterday) for another chance at a box of boosters.

This one is looking really good; J.T. (Megan's husband) and I have been very involved with the game since way back in the concept stage and we're really looking forward to having actual product to play with.  :)

Hey, thanks everyone for spreading the word.

Ben, we did go offline for 4 or 5 days after the UUG mishap/ringamarole, but I got us set back up on a BYUSA server. Not sure that it's an improvement, though...  :)

What do you mean, Ben?  The "Leading Edge" website has been up and running since long before I started attending (about two years ago).  We had some server mishaps about two months ago, but we were only down for about 5 days.  Then again, on the internet, 5 days is an eternity.

Everything Else / "Leading Edge" seeking submissions

"Leading Edge" Magazine is now actively soliciting manuscripts.  We're a 22-year-old semi-pro magazine, concentrating on new talent in science fiction and fantasy.

We're looking for fiction (up to 17,000 words), genre poetry, and even non-fiction articles.  We always welcome unsolicited manuscripts, and operate year-round.

For more information on where/how to submit, please visit http://tle.byu.edu or e-mail us at [email protected].  Writer's guidelines can be found at http://tle.byu.edu/wg.php.

Thanks, and we look forward to reading your manuscripts!

They would, yes.  But all the computer (or other player) would have to do is build gargoyles.

Really?  If Warcraft 3 is the best in online rts gaming right now, the industry needs a swift kick in the pants.

I agree.  Online gaming just doesn't appeal to me as much as it does other people (probably because I hate having my butt handed to me routinely by 12-year-old pimply kids with nothing better to do).  With rts games, I prefer the single-player campaigns, and Warcraft III, while not bad (at all), just isn't anything special.  Except for the cgi movies...
