Rants and Stuff / RACISM vs Other Bullying
« on: July 18, 2007, 10:50:29 PM »
Although I believe racism is serious and unfair, I disagree with the fact that it is placed higher on importance than other bullying.

I feel that bullying one person for there personality is often worse than racism, because there are millions of people of every race, and therefore other bullying can be much more personal and unique, often making it more personal.

Another point is that victims of racism have many people who have been through the same thing to confide in, whereas personal, unique bullying points mean fewer people to provide advice.

Please don't hate me; as I have said before I disagree with racism, and I am not racist.

It would be nice to get some opinions.

Video Games / Hitman: Blood Money
« on: January 12, 2007, 01:51:32 PM »
I have Hitman Blood money for PS2., due the fact that I bought it for my mum as a birthday present!

IMO, this game is the best in the series, as it has the best graphics, the most challenging missions, better weapons and controls, better storyline, sn just about everything else better than its predecessor, Hitman: Contracts, which was in itself a good game.

The worst thing about the Hitman series in the chronology - it is in a funny order time-wise! But other than that, this is my favourite PS2 game of all-time.

What does everyone else think?

Hi there!

This is just a post to let you know I have started my own forum. It's nothing compared to TWG, but I hope you will feel kind enough to look.

Everything Else / Richard Hammond in 280mph Car Crash
« on: September 21, 2006, 04:35:29 PM »
One of the UK's favourite TV personalities was seriously injured, reportedly trying to break the land speed record.

http://edition.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/europe/09/21/hammond.profile.reut/

Richard was famous for his work on Top Gear and Brainiac: Science Abuse.

Does anyone else think this is reminiscent of Steve Irwin's accident, ie; seriously injured doing the job that he loves, whilst being filmed. Let's hope (touch wood) that it doesn't end the same way (no I am not implying there was a stingray in the car before anyone jokes about this).

Has anyone read this trilogy on racial equality? I enjoyed the first one the most, but the entire series was both funny, sad and interesting. It was written by Malorie Blackman

Has anyone read this series, as I am in the middle of "Class A" and really enjoying it. It has a very carefree auhtorative style, whereas Harry Potter is written seriously. It's no joke book, though, as it is based on the child branch of the secret service!

Best-sellers, obvious good-evil ideas. But which one is best. Please, only participate if you have read the books as this is NOT about the movies!

Ok, others can look as long as you've read a couple of each. But warning, spoilers may follow!
