I just wanted to show off my new name. And this thread has been going since before I stopped coming to TWG, crazy!
News:
"Magic is what makes fantasy fantastic," someone says, "you can't apply rules to them or else it loses wonder!" I respond, "Sure, but if you want to write them you will certainly want to know how they work." Writing is all about execution, and I find applying some basic laws of physics to magic systems make them more understandable and realistic. Here, I'm going to outline my basic method for developing a magic system.

All this final review has stressed me out so much, I had a dream that I had one day to lose 100 lbs and actually felt like I could manage it... which is metaphorically how I feel about finals. Freud would be proud.

Something I've never listened to is Cosmin's "Stanford Rejection Mood Mix" - my friend made me that CD for my birthday the year I got rejected by some name brand schools. I figured I'd save it for at least until I have been rejected from Stanford Medical School, so I have a couple years yet.

I HATE BELL CANADA!!!!!! 
They seem to think I am trying to collect debt.
When I opened my internet account, they took my credit card number to pay the initial deposit... and then they took the liberty to charge me EVERY MONTH off my credit card without telling me. Meanwhile, they have sent me bills for $0 in the mail every month. The only reason I found out they had been sneaking my money is because my bank just sent me an overdraft notice with a heavy fine.
And now I'm on hold with them, which is consuming daytime minutes from my cel phone.
