Brandon Sanderson / Re: Casting for Warbreaker

Not that i don't love them, because i do, but does anyone notice how in every single casting for a Sanderson book, everybody always suggests Firefly cast, Dr Horrible cast, or Ellen Paige as someone. for every book!

Brandon Sanderson / Re: **SPOILERS! The Shards of Adonalsium
« on: March 31, 2010, 03:54:03 AM »
I don't think Hoid is a shard.  Why?  Cuz he still has a physical body.  When Vin became a shard, her body vanished, so if Hoid is a shard why hasn't this happened to him?

I agree that Hoid isn't a shard, but I am almost certain that he uses a shard. Lightweaving.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: How did you find out about Brandon Sanderson?

His wife taught my brother. Brandon came one day and read my bro's class some of Elantris.

#5 was answered alright, but i think brandon or maybe peter are the only ones who could answer #1, 2, 3, 4, and 7.
As for #6, it's been a little while since i read the books, but aren't all mistings direct descendants of the first mistborns created? if that's true, and assuming that the mistborn/misting gene follows the same rules as other genetics, then i think i can answer it. if your mom and dad both have red hair, and your grandpa's grandpa has brown hair, there is still the chance of you getting brown hair. just like how mistborn can be born of a misting. but don't quote me on that, though. because i could totally be wrong. but that makes sense right?

Cool, thanks guys.  Sorry to ask that question again. It had been on my mind since the beginning, and by the time I got to the end I could hardly remember anything about it for some reason.
Also, is Way of Kings closer than I expected? I thought he wasn't doing that for years or something.

Ok, I've been reading through this forum off and on for probably a month now, so forgive me if my question has already been asked, but all these posts are sort of melting together lately.
In any case, if Marsh were to stay alive forever, wouldn't he need a whole lot of atium? or at least a good amount to get himself started? Also, has Brandon shown up on this site at all recently? I could understand why not, but if anyone has heard from him, I really want to hear some of his awesome insights. No matter what topic they're on.
