Man! I cannot believe I just sat here and read al 42 pages! Now my eyes hurt!  ::)

Well, I have to say I'm truely loving this stuff!  Ink, your work is truely insipirational! You make me want to further develope my talent (not that it includes anyting digital, I'm totally lost there). I thank you for that since I had a serious slope in motivation for the last 6-8 months. I really love your first one of Vin. I think that one was my favorite. I just really like the feel of the whole thing.

Now I want to do some fanart, wich I have never really done, unless dragonball z woodburnings as gifts for my husband count.  :D But unfortunately my brain hurts from looking at this screen for so long, but hopefully I'll get some stuff up here soon.

Thanks again to all who posted their awesome art!! I Loved It!

Mmhmm. It was a bit like Luke and Han in the Falcon's gunnery stations.

Nightblood: "I got one!"
Vasher: "Great, kid. Don't get cocky."

You had me laughing so hard!!! It's perfect!

The art on Warbreaker grabbed my attention more than the others. I think it was mostly because of the contrast in colors, but I just found it more visualy appealing than the others.

I am not saying, however that I do not like the others, this was just my favorite. :)

I just realized that there are two Final Empire paperback covers. One of them is quite beautiful. Somehow, I got stuck with this one. Yuck.

I actually didn't see the "yucky" one until later and was like "What is that?" Didn't like that one at all.

I saw the free version, but I didn't read it, mostly because I'm a "sit on the couch, wrapped in a blanket with a book in one hand and coffee in the other", kind of reader. But even so I was tempted because I was pretty much broke when it came out, but I managed to scrounge up enough money to get the book (and only succeeded at that because someone was late picking up a reserved copy-thank you Jesus!).

Anyway, I actually gained a LOT of respect for him for doing it. It showed how much he believed in his fans and in his own ability to write a book compelling enough that people would actually want to own it, not just read it.

What is the story with that? Is that series worth going for?

thanks....

Read them!!! I have read all of these books and I would HIGHLY recomend them. I started reading Sanderson's stuff when I found out he was filling in for Robert Jordon. That's how I fell in love with him, I read Elantris first and kept going. ;)

Because to me all the frustrations with the series are pushed aside by the amazing, breathtaking end result, which hasn't even been fully realized. Jordan was a master, and the Wheel of Time series is this generation's Lord of the Rings.

I agree and that being said, whenever you can get around to reading it please do cuz it will be well worth it.

And don't forget A New Spring. I really enjoyed that book too. Actually I read it first so I had a completely different perspective of some of the characters than my husband, who started with book one. Just a thought.

Re: Religious Discrimination

Due to the recent passage of the Tar Valon Fair Employment Act, the White Tower can no longer continue to discriminate against any Sister based solely on her creed. Therefore, effective immediately, we formally recognize the existence of the Black Ajah and grant it full and equal standing in the Hall of the Tower. Any Aes Sedai who declares for the Black is not to be persecuted.

Let us welcome our sisters of minority religious persuasion into the fold. Together, we shall again control the world.

Yeah, I'm definately getting a box set. My husband destroys books when he reads them so now I need my own copies that will last. The pages are litterally falling out of Elantris and I just bought it less than 6 months ago! tsk tsk

I have to say I really enjoyed the scientific debate a few posts back! It was most entertaining. ;D

This is a hard one for me. I started reading Sanderson's books when I found out he was finishing Jordon's books so I could get a feel for his writing style. I finished Elantris the first day and headed straight to the book store and bought all thee Mistborn books and had those done in the next four days. As you can guess, I loved them and bought Warbreaker as soon as it was out.

I think I would have to say that Warbreaker was the most entertaining on an overall level simpliy because it had a little bit of everyting in it; romance, action, magic, suspence, plot twists and especially humor. Lightsong was my absolute favorite character out of all the books simply because I just couldn't stop laughing at him. (He kinda reminds me of my husband, but I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad ting ;) )
I loved the dialogue between the characters in this book as well. Plus, he left plenty of room at the end for more, which is always good.

However, that being said, HOA was definitely epic and had me in tears at the end, so it is a very close second. Since I have read all of his books at least twice (some three times) in the last few months, I'd say they are all definitely very worthy books in my opinion.
