Brandon Sanderson / Re: Larasium?

Simply put, that is just a side-effect of burning it. It enhances your body to be able to handle the metals, but its "primary" function is something else. I've no idea what that is, however.

^That.

Unless i missed something, the actual effects of it are still unknown, at least to us not "in the know" with brandon.
I though it gave you mistborn abilities, and thats it. i could be wrong though. Someone should ask Brandon.

Brandon Sanderson / Larasium?

So i guess that Larasium was the small bead of metal that Elend burned, when he was in the area of the Well of Ascension in the second book. So if that metal is the body of Preservation, then why would it let you burn the body of Ruin, it's exact opposite? Just wondering...

I tried to google this Pallopa pictures. They don't even have a website. It sounds like some new company. I really have no idea how development companies work. Do they write the script and then try to sell it to a studio? Does anyone know? My understanding is that this process typically takes several years even if a movie gets made. It can be 2 years just for script revisions.

That does strike me as odd. i did an extensive search on Pallopa, and i came up with nothing. although i doubt anything will go wrong, i do worry that this is some lame, fake deal with Brandon. that would just make more heatbreak for us all... anyway i think the movie would be great.

If we are doing suggestions for vin, i think Summer Glau from Firefly and Serenity would make an amazing vin, but thats just my opinion

I think in any battle with Feruchemists, it depends on how much stores they have.

One thing i was thinking about today was, do the Dahkor monks have a certain amount of time they become demon-like? Or can they simply stay in that state as long as they want? Also could the Elantrians draw apon the AonDor as much as they want also? in that case it would only be fair to assume that Feruchemists and Mistborn could have unlimited reserves also. Again if that happened the feruchemists could simply keep drawing heath back from their metalmind... Haha i think i just confused myself a bit..

Personally i think misborns could win without feruchemists. if it were dahkor vs. feruchemists alone, i think dahkor would win...

Ok, most recent progress is up at http://crazy-projects.blogspot.com/search/label/mistcloak. Preliminary results: sadly disappointing. :( I'm going to try narrower strips and see what happens.

I think that looks very well done. i would have to agree with you on the narrower strips though. excellent work thogh  ;D

Maybe this is just me, and i'm still not sure why it bugs me so much but the tiny little "a Sci-fi Essentials" book thing kinda screwed up the whole cover. It's probably just me sorry for my randomness, but thats what i think.

Raoden actually draws to power aeons at once at the end to blast two different monks...and Elantrians are faster stronger more agile and better coordinated than average humans

That's true, but i wouldn't consider a Mistborn, a "normal" human. still they could, quite simply burn pewter and jump/dodge the said AonDor magic or Dahkor monks even with the monk and Elantrian's un-human speed.

Also they could burn atium to know what's going to happen.

Not sure if this is excactly what you're looking for: When i went to the release/book signing of Hero, some one there had one that simply went around her waist.

From my viewpoint, it seemed simple enough.  the mist "tendrils" were just pieces of thin cloth that were; Black, Charcoal, and Gray. probably a half an inch each, and became slimmer as it went down. she must have had over 400 of those on that... Anyway it was a simplified version of what you probably want to make, but just for some ideas i thought it may help.

So are you saying it will be like a Turn-Based strategy game? or  something like Zelda? (sorry for the bad example!) by Zelda i mean something like you move freely, but have limited amounts of Allomantic metals? Haha sorry i'm confused about what you meant.
