hey did anyone catch in "the hope of elantris" that one of the aons mentioned was "Ati"?

I asked about this, but Peter says that there's no relation. ETA: Ati in Hope of Elantris was probably named before Ati in Mistborn, or Brandon just accidentally reused it.

I just thought that Ati might have been an elantrian...but oh well.

My real name is Matthew, but my nick (as you notices, is not conveniently shorter than my name) came about some years ago in a nameless online game or other site that I cannot recall right now. It refers to my piano playing, of which I'm told is very good.

I am seventeen years old, male, and LDS. I got wind of the TWG through Brandon Sanderson's web page (he goes by EUOL around here, right?). I am a fan of his books, as I have read Mistborn 1-3 and Warbreaker. All four were excellent reads. (i have also read Alcatraz 1-2. Very funny!)

I enjoy reading, playing piano, and hanging with friends.

Eragon (the book): was an okay book, but a bit unoriginal. (good writing, boring plot  :( )

Eragon (the movie): was horrible. reminds me of those corny sci-fi series i have seen on tv from time to time  >:(

Very good movie, probably the best yet. I'm liking what Mr. Yates is doing for the franchise...

He struck a very good balance between all of the warring plot elements the book was full to the brim with. One of the better movies-adapted-from-a-book I have seen in theaters.
