I was at AX too.  Actually, I think I was there when Ryan was talking to you, Ookla.  (Hmm, can't remember what you looked like....)

And to keep this from going completely off topic:  Slayers RULES!  ^_~

3 translators.  Athena and Alethia (don't remember their last name, but they've done a lot of work), and Ryan Flake who did Lament of the Lamb and used to be my boyfriend.

Ah.  I've only seen the cartoons and read Ultimate Spider-Man, so I don't know anything about the clone saga.

Just saw the trailer for this reciently.  Looks like she has more than one leather suit.  Personally, I can't think of a story that has Catwoman as the hero that would be movie worthy.

The whole Spidey loosing his powers thing, do you think that was hinting towards man-spider, or that his heart wasn't into being Spidey?  The second explination doesn't really make much sense, I mean, why would his powers be connected in any way to his emotional state?  But if they did Man-spider, it would be way corny...

I thought Lodoss was a story writen from a D&D session.

So what you're saying, Ookla the Mok, is that you did the editing for the Tokyo Pop translations?

I think it's also called half-up.  Not that different, I know.

How about putting only one track with dead air, immediately followed by the hidden track.  It's the dead air that bugs me.  If I could just get to the song without any fuss, then hidden tracks would be cool.

I can do that.  Just ask MOD.

Pft.  I can do that myself here at home.  It's nothing big.

I could possibly do the artwork, depending on what style you want.

Another thing to remember is that your audience can pick up on hints.  (I'm really bad at remembering that.)  If things are going to get really bad due to the evil villian, you can hint at the bad stuff and change the scene before you have to write all the gory details.

Usually I can't handle anything that might be classified as torture.  Or as MOD said, to much detail about someone being cut in half.  Yuck. :P

Thanks EUOL, it helps.  Now I just need to figure out if when I'm rambling, or else this whole first chapter will be explination.

MOD, you know I love ya, hon, but I hate the replacement letter trick for nameing things.  Sometimes you can get away with it, if the origional word is unusuall, but most of the time it comes off as forced.  Everyone knows what name your really using.
