Title: Non-bostoned?
Post by: mbarker on August 26, 2010, 04:42:21 AM
Today's strip says "The maps we got from Kerchak are recent and non-bostoned, right down to allocation of forces." What's "non-bostoned"? I don't recognize that term, I think? I know Boston, MA...

Yeah I didn't get it either.

Was there supposed to be a footnote or something beneath it? I'm seeing a broken image link under the strip...

Good catch. In the source, it looks as if there's

which doesn't seem to work?

As a newcomer to Boston (1 year now), I fully endorse both uses of the term as defined in the footnote.  GPS is God's way of telling Boston that you should never let cows design roads.

Cows didn't design Boston roads.  Drunken Puritans designed Boston roads.  Cows would have done a much better job.
