This is an alternate account because we don't want the recipient to know suspect too much. . .
A few of the fans have gotten together and started a project to honor Brandon. We've heard that he doesn't get on here any more, but to be on the safe side, we're not going to post all of the details here. Instead we've created an event on the TWG on Facebook group which explains everything.

I was under the impression that he still gets on occasionally, but he doesn't post. In fact, it looks like he was on just a few days ago. Of course that may have been Peter.

I was told from a very reliable source that he does not, and that most of the time when it does log his presence it's either someone coming here on his computer, or else it is Peter. Still, we thought it better to be safe then sorry.

When would he have time to even look?
New baby, 2 year old, three books, not to mention pr stuff (interviews, conventions, symposiums).
eating and sleeping are probably hard to do right now......

apparently there's a TWG facebook group i wasnt aware of :O
as far as i'm aware, most if not all of brandon's presence on the forums for the past year or so has been peter.
Now, on to the important aspect of this post. My guess as to the alt: Peter pretending to be not peter or miyabi. :D

if the change to mr. alt_account is reflective of the person behind it, then i totally smoked the answer to the "who is this masked man? where does he come from? and where does he get his dashing good looks?" in my first post, at least the first question anyways.
Edit: also for KhyEllie - Unless i miss my guess the two people up there on the left are mr. j, and firstRainbowRose, and im not sure about the dude on the right.

Well, Eer, if you are correct about who the two people in the video are, then would it make sense that the person who created the account to announce the project would be different from those who are in fact giving the project?

Nope, and i considered this, however, i'm going off the changes to the account, and my inherent desire to be correct. I allow these factors to cloud my judgement, because being right is awesome! :D

I still use it in Starcraft and on Ars Technica.
I'm also getting confused by this other Ookla. People should be free to still call me Ookla without this interloper getting in the way.
