Excellent. It makes me want to bust out my old sets and/or purchase this Designer thing. Unfortunately, I know that I wouldn't get any work done if I did either.

I *knew* there was something missing from the review. The designer is free. YOu can get it at http://ldd.lego.com

Would love to see posts of screenshots people make.

Tip: turn on the preference that gives you a brick to place without either having to click the palette of bricks or use the clone tool. Why that's turned off by default is beyond me. Trying to use the software without it would be an exercise in frustration for me.

version 3 was released. New interface, primarily, some really good additions

No new bricks, however, and I've found several that are missing
