Title: Leather bound TGS copies
Post by: Phaz on September 03, 2009, 01:42:22 PM
When Brandon mentioned these I jumped on it and preordered one.  Yesterday I got an email from the company saying:

"I regret to inform you that 'The Gathering Storm' was removed from our website this morning because the publisher delivery date is not available. With that said, you will not be able to re-submit an order with us for this title. When the book is available, it will be placed on the website again."

Did anyone else get the same?  Does anyone know anything about this?  I was really looking forward to it.

I'm looking into it. My guess is that they just ran out since there were only about 100 of these. If I can get any better news I'll let you know.

Thanks.  I ordered mine as soon as I saw the announcement right after Brandon made it on twitter, but didn't get this message till yesterday.

Were you ever find anything out?  Deciding if I should keep trying for this or just preorder one of the signed/numbered ones.

If you are gonna spend the cash on the leatherbound, why not spend and extra $24 on a signed number one as well? Better safe than sorry.

Is it confirmed that there are only 100 copies? Does anyone know?
