Title: It's just beginning
Post by: happyman on May 21, 2009, 05:11:31 PM
OK, I'm starting to get the feel of this.

All the other amorphs have been to the circus.  So now Schlock is in even worse shape than he was before.

Perhaps he should go to the circus and pretend to be himself.  After all, nobody is going to believe him.  And, of course, it would make his act even more obviously fake.  Perfect!

Yeah, I have this vision of Schlock talking to a wide-eyed little girl, insisting that he is the real Sergeant Schlock. At which point she says, "Can you change colors? Can you turn into a real person?" And stalks off, telling her mother that she knew he wasn't real. While he stands in the background, muttering, "I am the real one. Really!" And 'Chelle pats his shoulder, saying, "It's better this way." Maybe with a chorus of Nozz, Muck and Pod asking, "Who are you, really?"

Huh. Schlock could always work the midway, selling Sergeant Schlock DVDs and collectibles. Great costume!

Something like that?

Someone call the existentialist hotline and report an identity crisis in the making. Make the report anonymously, though. It's more alarming that way.

Oh no.  What he's come up with is much better than what I've speculated.

BTW, interesting insight into Amorph ethics in today's strip.  Funny and deep.
