Genre: Space Opera.
Coolness Factor: Higher than you.
Number of players looked for: A few, but more is merrier (and means the game is less likely to abruptly die I suppose).
It is a game where the characters are from a human nation that, after 90 years of self-imposed isolation, now wishes to find out whats up in the wider galaxy. You are the crew of a scout ship with holographic technology, and have to infiltrate and explore alien civilisations without revealing your species as human.
The setting and technology is outlined in the (9 pages - it's a meg in size thanks to some pictures of galaxies I threw in) document below. The entire thing is player knowledge, none is off limits to anyone. Many thanks to my talented but un-lovely assistant SE for his proof checking. The system is TBA, but will run fairly quietly 'behind the scenes'. Most likely Savage Worlds or BESM, due to their sheer simplicity. Maybe GURPs 3e if I'm feeling overly energetic as far as rules go.
