Title: Newsletters
Post by: Spriggan on April 30, 2005, 01:19:18 AM
I send out a batch of newsletters, unfortuantly my program didn't send any of the links I added, and I don't want to resend the correct version so others don't think I'm spamming, so if you want to be removed please let me know.

I need to talk to you about that, because I got a copy for EVERY FRIGGIN ONE you sent out. You have a variable misset or something. Anyway, please don't do that again until we have it worked out.

that's intresting, I only got one copy.  Did anyone else get multiples?

Also Tage you're not even on the mailing list so this is strange.

Sweet I accidently invented a program to annoy Tage, I should market this.

Anyway I have a thought on what caused the problem, but I'll need to research some things first.  I also don't think there will be another news letter for a bit, the only news EUOL would announce is the book tour and I don't see Dave getting back to him for another week or two.

one thing that would help me Tage is to let me know what e-mail address those were sent too and roughly how many you got.  I sent out twenty so if you got all twenty it one problem if you only got a few of those twenty then it's another problem.

It'll be easier to talk to you about it, since I'm pretty sure I know exactly what the problem is. I got a copy for every single one because it's sending to $recever [sic] or something at the domain, which doesn't get translated into an actual value and ends up hitting my catch-all, which goes to me.
