Title: Interesting Itunes troubleshooting tidbit.
Post by: Mad Dr Jeffe on March 22, 2004, 11:44:45 AM
Many of you know I have an Ipod... I also recently purchased a Mac. My PC (with all my Itunes stuff on it) had no DVD/RW drive.
So until today my music was stuck on my PC because you cant take music off of one computer and put it on another with the IPOD (it was a requirement for the RIAA to support Itunes).
Untill IPOD rip that is. I downloaded this program that can read and rip all of my data off my Ipod. Then I just need to enter in my password to play my protected AAC files and Im set... Plus I can use it 10 times without paying a penny. It works great by the way.

You're supposed to be able to 'authorize' up to four computers at once with Itunes to download all the music you've purchased and play it.

Yeah you can... but you can only download to one of them at a time, getting them off the machine is your responsibility. Anyway the best tool for transferring everything is my Apple Brand 4 gig Ipod.
