Make sure you all rush out and buy a copy of Lord of the Rings: Weapons and Warfare.  It details the cultures, weapons, armors, and battle plans of all of the peoples from the Lord of the Rings, including TONS of pictures (many from the upcoming Return of the King).  Although not an RPG book by any means, I will be getting a LOT of use from this book for my game.  YOu can buy it at any bookstore for 18 bucks.  A steal!!!  If you still aren't convinced this is a cool book, it has a foreward by Christopher Lee.  The only way this book could be cooler was if it had Liv Tyler in a chainmail bikini on the cover.

Slant, I forgot to tell you--the day you posted this I thought it was so cool that I immediately ordered it online for my Dad for Christmas. Thanks for the recommendation, and nobody tell Dad!
