Title: The Fanboy falls
Post by: Entsuropi on August 25, 2003, 09:16:33 PM
Once did a warhammer fanboy win a victory over a non GW fan,
And the non-gw fan was verily forced into buying Inquisitor,
And the Fanboy rejoiced, and was given a bit of his damned soul back.

But this was a phyrric victory indeed,
For the fanboy began to feel doubt.
His enemies arguments had been strong,
His logic sound,
His bribes most sizable.

Soon, the Fanboy began to lose faith.
Dull army books and identical flavour text,
Pencil drawings and expensive models
And a fanbase composed of 14 year old gits,
All these sowed confusion and doubt in the mind of the fanboy.

And then was the final blow struck.
The much coveted revised Imperial Guard codex,
Oh, how the WD article on it dulled the mind.
They changed nothing! They made no changes of interest!
And, most heinous of all, they made boring models!

Anger did stir in the Fanboys mind.
Great was his discontent.
The Celtos and Warmachine pages did recieve visits from him.
The GW site was shunned by him.

And so, now, at the end of this tale, the fanboy is left.
His faith in tatters.
His devotion undone.
His loyalty cast aside.

Should we hold an official funeral? We could invite all our Clix models, just out of spite.
