Way back in the day, I was hooked on a graphical mud game called wyvern but then they started to come...
I refer to them as they for that is the nicest thing i can call those soulless pagans.
There only come back is nOod or what ever when you kindly try to explain to them that you should do the tutorial even tho you don't have too. I might seem like a jackass but come on why should you ask a question if it is all explained to you.
So runescapers I question your honor and fart in you general diction what are you gonna do about it?

Heh, everyone gets a warning or two before I get mad. Or I just wake up one day to see someone spamming the forum with nonsensical posts (not you Boris) and I point that fact out to them.

My younger sister is a huge Runescape player, one of the few people to max out Slayer.

It's very odd how Runescapers use "noob" to mean experienced fanatical player.

It was fun for a while... But now I have bigger, better games. *coughWoWcough*

I used to play Runescape... it was fun, despite the various glaring problems. Then along came WoW, and my soul was lost for the next 7 months. Got to level 48, and half way through my eighth Zul Farrak run I realised how mindlessly futile the whole game was... and all MMORPGS in fact. Endless 'grinding... grinding... ooh, a level up! only 12 more levels and several hundred hours to go until level cap!'. I can safely say, I now play neither. Nope, now Battlefield 2 owns my soul :)

Villandra is maxing out this week. She is currently ranked #12 overall, with only the top 10 having maxed out. She sent me a video a friend of hers (the current #31 overall) made to congratulate her. It features people standing around congratulating her as she hits 99 in various skills.

I enjoy playing Runescape, I don't know what it is but I just can't stay away. It can be so boring and so time-consuming and so pointless but I just can't stop.
I haven't got the maddness or the patience to get really high levels but I'm no newbie ^_^

Villandra's other account, Slayerbelle, recently became the first ever to get an untrimmed Slayer cape.
Oh my, looks like Villandra is #2 in the world right now in Runescape, since Summoning was released. The new #1 Kingduffy 1 was the first to max out though, and has way more XP, so I doubt she'll try to pass him. She'll probably keep trying to be the 2nd to max out.
Maybe Zezima has some kind of life right now keeping him from Summoning?

Haven't played Runescape in a long time. Never got a chance to really get the life sucked out of me. I wonder if my account is still valid?
It's very popular at my library. I see kids playing it on the computer all the time.

I started playing due to a recommendation by Orson Scott Card. I'm afraid I haven't shaken the monkey off my back yet, although I think the new star wars mmorpg might do it. Of course then I'm not really freeing myself just swapping monkeys :-\

I played Runescape for about a week. I guess it was fun enough, but it didn't really do much for me. MMO's are getting a little on the old side for me right now anyway....

My sister was the 3rd to max out after the release of Summoning, and she also became the first person to get an untrimmed Summoner cape on her account Lorica. She's currently going for the first to get a 10-hp 99 slayer on her account Ellebreyals. That might be her final runescape goal.
