Hope they fix the crippling problems with the battlefield series (ie, crap maps, way too many vehicles, the bad 'feel' of the games in general).

I actually feel that they've fixed all of those problems already with Battlefield 2. I've never felt like a map is overpowered by vehicles; helicopters can still be overwhelming if one team gets all of them, but in general I've been quite pleased with their recent maps and balance.

BF2142 looks awesome, I've been following it for months (being an avid Battlefield fan). I just hope my first love, Battlefield 2, doesn't become deserted online (which I'm almost certain it wont).
